Prey appears just as I was about give up on a declining franchise. Simple, but effective strategy. The whole film is set in the forest. Amber Midthunder, an adolescent girl eager to demonstrate her (original post) hunting skills to the tribe, is our main focus. Although the plot is predictable, it works. It's very entertaining.
